Note taking.

 As I am reading though my government notes in order to study for my 12:30 test, I realize that I do not take notes in a normal way. Here are some prime examples, from both my government class, that have not be edited at all:

McCulloch vs Maryland- (1819) the federal government had created a national bank and Maryland  tried to tax it and McCulloch, the clerk, was like WAT. Chief Justice John Marshall agreed w/ McCulloch and said: "The power to tax is the power to destroy." He was right because if you can tax you take all their money. The supreme court was like lol no he is right, you can't tax us bitches.

Formula grants - Tornado? Let me see if you REALLY need repair money

Some people today want to go back to Dual federalism they argue 4 things:

If we take most of the power from feds and give it to the states then they can:

• tailor their own programs to solve their own problems. It would be more efficient.  (right now when the feds see a problem and tries to solve it for all 50 states.)

• If we have specific state programs then people can move which state fits them the best.

• The national gov is dominated by special interests (we can stop this with dual!)

• The national gov is too big, it leads to wastes and inefficiency.

THE OTHER SIDE SAYS THE DUAL PEOPLE ARE WRONG; THEY ARGUE:

•  Equality rights would suck

•  Not everyone can move cause you know… MONEY.
• Yeah but… but…. SHUT YOUR FACE.  NA-NA-NA-NA-NA WE CAN'T HEAR YOU.

• SHUT UP. SHUT THE FUCK UP.

(my professor talked for thirty minutes about the reelection process and all I wrote was this: )

If all you do is put aside your beliefs to get re-elected so that you can further you beliefs… why do it all?

Iran- kill them, cut trade, invade and rebuild, prevent them from alliances

  

The older you are the more likely you are to vote till about 65 (Upside-down parabola of voting)


So yeah, the fact of the matter is that I am normal... right?
